Scissor Sisters formed in New York in 2001. They came to public attention with the release of the Grammy-nominated and chart-topping disco version of Comfortably Numb.

Displaying a shift towards a more club-oriented sound, their third studio album ‘Night Work’ (2010) charted at number two on the UK Albums Chart, and gave the band their biggest success to date in America.
