£45k boost for mums and toddlers' group
The new funding means that more than £738,000 is now invested in County Antrim providing services to disadvantaged children in the area.
Over a period of three years, Ballee and Harryville Community Enterprises in Ballymena will deliver a weekly mother and toddler group and creative classes to local children.

Hide AdThe sessions will provide social and play opportunities that will help to develop friendships, skills and encourage healthier lifestyles.
Nikella Holmes, Community Development Officer at Ballee and Harryville Community Enterprises said: “We’re delighted to have been awarded with this funding from BBC Children in Need.
“With it we’ll be able to work with some extremely disadvantaged families in the area and make a lasting difference.”
Speaking of the new grant, Fionnuala Walsh, BBC Children in Need Interim National Head of Northern Ireland said: “It’s great to be awarding further funding in Northern Ireland to support projects like Ballee and Harryville Community Enterprises in Ballymena, where children are helped to manage and overcome big challenges in their lives.
