Ulster Sports Museum Exhibition at Town Hall
It features many sports stars across the disciplines from boxing to GAA, soccer to rugby and motor sports to Paralympics and celebrates past champions such as Mary Peters, George Best, Alex Higgins and Joey Dunlop while also celebrating the triumphs of Rory McIlroy, Wendy Houvenaghel and other heroes of today.
To add a local element to the main body of the Ulster Sports Museum Exhibition, Ballymoney Museum and Sports Development staff have created an exhibition which highlights the exceptional individuals who have been inducted into Ballymoney Sports Advisory Committee’s Hall of Fame. The exhibition spans the years 2000-2010 and includes sporting heroes from the world of hurling, rugby, motorsports, cycling, bowling, football and hockey.
