Annual Potato Festival back at the Giant’s Causeway
This young festival is growing at an amazing rate thanks to the quality of the offering at this free event.
This year the festival committee have been busy working to pull everything together for this year’s main event on Saturday 3rd October supported by events on Thursday 1st and Friday 2nd October.

Hide AdThis year the event will combine with the National Trust Community Open Day at the Giant’s Causeway, meaning visitors not only get to visit the festival for free but also the world renound Giants Causeway providing an entirely free fun day for all the family.
The program of events are as follows-:
October 1st : On Thursday evening from 7 – 10pm as part of the UNESCO International Year of Light 2015 many features at the Giant’s Causeway will be lit at night and there will be three guided tours.
Those attending can also walk down to the stones by themselves. It is advised that everyone attending should bring their own torch to the event. Last admission to the Giant’s Causeway Visitors centre will be 9.30pm
October 2nd : Friday 11am There will be a guided visit to Chipmaster, one of Northern Ireland’s leading growers and producer of potatoes. Register early for this visit - see full details on www.facebook.com/nipotatofestival or call – 07759092927 to book your place.

Hide AdAlso on Friday evening from 8pm -11.30 pm there will be live entertainment in the Causeway Hotel.
Saturday 3rd: 10am – 5pm The Main Northern Ireland Potato Festival and National Trust Community Open Day at the Giant’s Causeway will take place including: Potato producers, growers, artisan foods, exhibitions, talks, children’s arts and crafts, celebrity chefs and cooking demonstrations, helicopter rides, bouncy castles, displays, food stalls and more.
