Councillor Margaret Tolerton, speaker at the October meeting of Killultagh Women’s Istitute, enthralled her audience with an account of memorable events during her term as Mayor.
The competition, for a historical item from Lisburn, yielded a mini-museum display with winners Sheila Maguire, Rosemary Downey and Betty Connor. Olive Campbell and Maeve Compbell won the ballot prizes. Birthday catch-up saw Winnie Harbinson, Etta Morris, Adeline Morrow and Sheila Maguire receive flowers.
