Carrick’s Larne Road ‘looks a lot better’ after tidy up
The removal of weeds and a tidy up along a seafront stretch of Carrick’s Larne Road has been welcomed by Councillor Jim Brown.
The independent representative raised the issue with Mid and East Antrim Council after being contacted by a number of constituents.
Referring to the area between Fisherman’s Quay and the railway halt at Downshire, Mr Brown said: “The place looks a lot better. It was overgrown, the weeds were growing through cracks in the pavement and around litter bins and summer seats.”
