A fine of £150 was imposed on a 24-year- old man last Thursday at Banbridge Magistrates Court for a drugs offence.
Andrew Neill Mooney, Thornwood, Banbridge, admitted unlawful possession of cannabis on July 23 this year.
He was also ordered to pay a £15 offender’s levy.
The court heard police stopped a car on the Dromore Road, Banbridge, and detected a strong smell of cannabis.
They found a small amount of cannabis and Mooney admitted it belonged to him, the court was told.
