Man fined for possession of crowbar in GP surgery
Ian McFaul (22), of John Street, admitted possessing an offensive weapon on March 3.
The Court heard that McFaul went to the GP surgery, where the doctor noticed he had a crowbar concealed up his sleeve. The defendant also had a panic alarm up his other sleeve.

Imposing penalty, District Judge Barney McElholm said: “One can understand why the people in the health centre would have been concerned about this. I don’t think there was any threat to them from this man”.
