Constable McElhinney said: “We believe this may be linked to other reports in the area, including a report made to us Tuesday afternoon where a blue, and white and black ‘Giant ‘ mountain bike was reported stolen from an address in Drumford Meadow.
“I am appealing to anyone who is offered tools, or a bike, similar to those reported stolen for sale in suspicious circumstances, or knows of their whereabouts, to get in touch with us. I would also urge anyone who has information and may have been in the area and saw any suspicious activity to call us on 101, quoting reference number 171 of 27/10/20.”
A police spokesperson added: “A report can also be made using the online reporting form via www.psni.police.uk/makeareport. Alternatively, information can be provided to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org”
