Dromore seizure of £120,000 of herbal cannabis welcomed
The 61 year old was arrested and was questioned at Lurgan PSNI Station after a car was stopped on the A1 dual carriageway, police finding the cannabis after searching the vehicle.
Lagan Valley MLA Brenda Hale and Councillor Alderman Paul Rankin have welcomed the drugs seizure and commended the local PSNI.

Hide AdMrs Hale, who is also a member of the NI Policing board, said: “This seizure is a direct result of Operation Torus which specifically uses local intelligence along with national intelligence to target drug operations.
“People have commented to me that there seems to be more drugs than ever now on the streets, but this isn’t the case.
“What we are seeing is more police action being taken directly against drug dealers and the drug problem, using good intelligence.
“I am pleased this police operation has seen more drugs seized as this means less drugs on our streets and more lives being saved.
