Firefighters called after bin set alight in Moneymore
A team of firefighters from Cookstown were called out on Tuesday evening to put out a “deliberate fire” in a bin in Moneymore.
A Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service received a call at 8:40pm to a report of a fire at the Manor Park, Cookstown Road area of Moneymore yesterday evening (Tuesday, July 21).
“One Fire Appliance from Cookstown Fire Station was deployed to a small bin on fire in the area.
“The incident finished at 8:55pm and is being treated as a deliberate fire.”
