The flowers had been planted around the area for the Ulster in Bloom competition in partnership with Craigavon Borough Council.
In the early hours of Sunday morning barrels were upturned on the Charlestown Road.

One resident commented: "Members of our community put a lot of time and effort in planting out to enhance the image of Derrytrasna. It is a sad reflection some of the youth that they cannot pass flowers without destroying them."
It's the second time in two years Derrytrasna's floral display has been vandalised. This time last year flowers were destroyed near the crossroads at the fisherman sculpture.
