Inter-faith event planned
The local inter-faith group are happy to host this meeting, as it addresses spiritual issues that go beyond the normal religious labels as dealing with the need to care for the phusical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the seriously ill. Dr Munro served the community for many years as a General Practitioner. He was involved with the Foyle Hospice right from the start, and recently took over from Dr Tom McGinley its chairman. As a person of faith, as a doctor, and as someone deeply involved with an organisation caring for those with terminal illness, he is well-qualified to deal with the subject.
The meeting is open to all. It will be held in Alexander House, Bishop Street, Londonderry on Wednesday 22 September, at 7.30 pm (refreshments will be served from 7 pm).
