Lisheeghan resurfacing work to start this month
Mr McKay said: “After making representations to Roads Service over recent years I am glad to see this work finally given the go ahead and look forward to seeing work commence later this month.
“Tens of thousands of pounds will be spent on this work and whilst the entire road will not be done from end to end I have pressed Roads Service to ensure that the two worst stretches, according to the views of local residents, are brought up to standard.
“I would like to thank Roads Service for the work they have done on this matter and look forward to it being carried out over the next few weeks.”
