Mount Druid Fair – another charity success story
The organisers felt the live music provided by Michael Kennedy, Sam O’Neill and Alistair Coyles as well as the Steel band provided a lovely atmosphere for people to browse the many stalls, view the vintage machinery or watch the dancing, threshing and other demonstrations.
The alpacas, goats, sheep, chickens, etc., were a huge attraction for all the family. The cavalcade is always a popular attraction as the vehicles leave the field and this year the parade was led by Rev. Patrick Barton through the village.
