Narrow escape in Bow Street
No-one was seriously injured in what amounted to a narrow escape in Lisburn on Sunday when a car crashed into bollards at the top of Bow Street.
Witnesses reported on-line that the occupants of the car, which mounted the pavement at the corner of Market Street, were an elderly couple, visibly shaken as they were led to an attending ambulance.
A number of people who were emerging from the nearby River Island store at the time said it was lucky no-one was killed or badly hurt.
