Brightening Christmas for Larne with football club’s support
and live on Freeview channel 276
The Inver club’s first team players purchased gifts for The Salvation Army and St Vincent de Paul Christmas Family Appeal and the Brighter Futures Fund supported Women’s Aid ABCLN’s ‘Make it Magical’ campaign.
Due to the current Covid-19 situation, the club decided to take a new approach to the collection this year. Instead of asking supporters and the community to donate items, gifts, toys and other goods were purchased by both the players personally and through funds previously raised by Brighter Futures.

Hide AdSandara Kelso-Robb MBE, Brighter Futures strategic advisor, said: “It was such a privilege to be able to continue supporting local people in need with our Christmas Toy and Gift Drive.
“Between the players, staff and the Brighter Futures Fund, a large variety of games, books, toys and gifts, for distribution to people of all ages, were given to the Salvation Army, St Vincent de Paul and Women’s Aid ABCLN.
“We hope it lets people know that we’re thinking about them at what can be a difficult time of year normally and particularly so this year.”
