Remebrance Day to be streamed online
Originally planned for November 8. the committee decided that, due to the new NI Executive rules and the Royal British Legion’s own guideline, the large scale parade and service could not go ahead.
Chairman of the Lisburn branch of the Royal British Legion, Mr Brian Sloan explained: “We are planning to hold a small wreath laying service at the War Memorial and carry out an Act of Remembrance at 11am on November 8, which will be live streamed to cover both Lisburn and Hillsborough, thanks to the Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council.

“These actions will help to keep us all safe. We will remember them.”
