The ABC council has agreed a DUP proposal to mark the Queen's official 90th birthday celebration with a series of events.
A Notice of Motion was brought before the Council on Monday night with unionists voting to accept.
Plans include a beacon lighting and tree planting ceremony on April 21, three family fun days and an open air celebratory concert, all on June 11.
