V36 park opening costs £8,000
Figures obtained by the Times reveal that the total costs for the event came to a whopping £8,050.50. The main areas of expenditure were £1,851 which was spent on catering, £1,330 for removal, collection and deliveries and £1,200 for poseur tables, covers, table cloths and runners.
Other areas of expenditure included £800 for audio visual equipment and a technician to operate it and £500 for four buses which were used to transport primary school pupils.
