VIDEO: Country star makes five-year-old superfan's birthday with special message
Little Laurenn Armstrong, who according to mum Alison, knows every Lisa McHugh song “off by heart” - “absolutely loved it”.
“If you had seen her face,” Alison told the Mail. “She was all grins, but shortly after the video was over she cried. She says ‘mummy, I am just crying because I am so happy’.”

When contacted by the Mail the star was only too happy to send the little girl a special birthday message. In it, Lisa said: “Hi Laurenn, it’s Lisa McHugh just dropping by to wish you a very happy fifth birthday.
“I hope you get lots of new toys and new presents.
“A small birdie tells me you might be a fan of mine so hopefully we’ll be able to see you at one of our shows very soon. Until them, take care. X”
Alison said that after she played it the budding young singer “was totally overwhelmed”.

“There isn’t a song that child doesn’t know... She just eats sleeps and breathes Lisa McHugh.”
Laurenn has already met Lisa a few times in person, but her mum has bought tickets to see the country star again at the Burnavon later this month.
