Youth Choir in a Lisburn serenade
The service was led by Marcus Somerville (Youth Challenge Worker for Lagan Valley and Mourne area) who also gave the address. Conducted by Angie McKee (Head of Education Department - CEF Ireland) the choir sang a great selection of hymns including, ‘I have decided to follow Jesus’ and ‘Amazing love, how can it be?’.
Senior Youth Challenge (SYC) caters for late teens (16+) and those in their twenties. They meet monthly and new members are always welcome.

The choir sings at church services, youth rallies and missionary conventions, seeking to promote the need for outreach to children. To this end, many of the choir’s pieces have been specially written to focus attention on the needs of the children.
Over the years the choir has produced six CDs, ‘Lift up your eyes’, ‘Go tell’, ‘Don’t lose the vision’, ‘How will they hear?’, ‘The call of the kingdom’ and their latest album ‘Christ is enough’.
