Archery news from Ballyvally
Four times a year, top International archer and coach, Mrs Maggie Squires comes to help train the Ballyvally archers. With Ballyvally’s head coach, Frank Mulligan, three days activities are organised for club members only.
Maggie, who in the past has represented Great Britain at international level, takes archers on an individual level to improve their personal performance skills while Frank works on field craft on Ballyvally’s wooded course.

Hide AdAll this top level coaching has paid off handsomely at the recent NI Indoor Championships where Ballyvally archers won the majority of the top awards.
- Next weekend, Ballyvally will host their second NI Championships when over 100 archers will come to Loughbrickland to contest the 2012 Field Championships.
Ballyvally archers have been training hard both indoors and outdoors for this event and two national standard courses of 48 targets have been set up in the local woods.
- With Easter over all Ballyvally members are reminded that the usual Wednesday and Thursday sessions will restart on April 19 in Banbridge Leisure Centre.
