The day started with dignified solemnity with the unfurling of the club flag by the President, followed by the delivery of the first bowl by Beth Burns, wife of the President.
Conviviality was further fostered with the presentation to Mrs Burns of a bouquet of flowers by club treasurer Uel Galbraith.
Member’s participation in the day’s proceedings came courtesy of a club competition organised by senior members Willie Taylor and Ken McConomy.
