League triumph helps to erase Fourths' cup heartache
Ballymena were 8 points ahead of their closest league rivals CSNI V, losing only two of their league matches.
Throughout the season the team ethic and enjoyment of the game has led to this success.

Hide AdThe three older team members, Stu Watt, Ali Gibson and Colin McClean scored most heavily with the bat and Peter Gillespie, Mark Monteith and Ali Gibson spearheaded the attack.
Special mention should be made of Dean Reynolds and Matthew Bell. The Cambridge House schoolboys have shown all the potential necessary to progress through the club and become excellent cricketers.
A total of 34 players turned out for the 4ths this season and every one contributed to such a successful campaign in both league and cup.
The Fourths will now be promoted into the newly formed Junior 7 league and, with the same attitude as was shown this year, another promotion next year will put the Fourths hard on the heels of the Thirds, showing the club's true strength in depth at the more junior levels.
