DERRY GAA: Club Derry aiming to double membership
“We’re pleased with the start to the new year, both on and off the pitch,” said Club Derry chairman, John Keenan.
“We’ve had almost one new member per day since the year started, which has been pleasing, but it’s vital that we continue to work to provide our teams, and all our development efforts, with the best support possible.”

With a stated aim of doubling the membership during 2016, the Castledawson man’s ambitious plans have gained momentum in recent weeks.
“We are planning to get in touch with all existing members in order to distribute new jackets,” he said. “It’s a small token - a badge of honour, if you like, and a demonstration of the self-help ethos which underpins the GAA in our county” concluded Keenan.
All existing Club Derry members are asked to get in touch with Bernie Mullan ([email protected]), Miceál Ahern ([email protected]) or John Keenan ([email protected]) to organise for delivery of their new apparel for 2016.
