All square for Rangers in match with global audience
Maybe not the best advert for Mid Ulster Football in a landmark game which was broadcast live on Facebook in full on Saturday, with almost 1000 people tuning in to watch from as far away as Spain and USA.
The bottom side in the league have improved since the turn of the year with several good results, mostly at their home pitch, which is extremely bobbly and not suited to flowing football.

Football on the deck was at a premium in the opening half which ended with very few clear cut chances at either end.
The second half was a bit more livelier from the away team who equalised ten minutes in via a Matthew McKnight glancing header from a Cousins throw in.
Rangers pressed for a winner but lacked quality in the final third and came up against a determined AFC defence.

Hide AdWith just over ten minutes to play the game took a turn for the worse when the AFC Craigavon goalkeeper and Rangers striker Stephen Teggart were both sent off.
The sending off means Teggart will miss the League Match against Hanover at Havelock Park on Tuesday evening but should be back in the squad for Saturday’s crunch Marshall Cup Semi Final away at Newry City AFC.
Congratulations to Christopher Chambers who was presented after the game with a token of appreciation by club Chairman John Patterson for reaching the tremendous feat of 300 appearances for Banbridge Rangers First Team.
