Memorial event a huge success
The four-team tournament, played in memory of the hugely popular Ballymena man who died in tragic circumstances at the end of last year, was won by Ahoghill Rovers.
The real winner, however, was Causeway Hospital intensive Care Unit, were Ric was treated prior to his death, after the tournament raised an impressive total of £1,100.

Tournament organiser Jason Connolly said he was overwhelmed by the support the tournament had received from the competing teams and the footballing public in the Ballymena area.
Jason also presented a memento of the day - which was kindly sponsored by Damian McKee of Picture Magic Studios - to Ric’s wife Jacqui and brother Nigel on behalf of Wakehurst Football Club.
