Penalty exit agony for Glenavon
Glenavon battled back from 3-0 down but still ended up losing their League Cup tie with Ards on a drama filled night at Mourneview Park.
The Blues dominated long spells of this clash but looked down and out at the break after Ards led 3-0.
However, inspired by man of the match Rhys Marshall who scored his first two goals for the club, the Blues tied at 3-3 and looked like going on to complete the comeback.
Ards somehow held out and the game eventually went to penalties with the visitors going through 5-4.
Glenavon coach Paul Millar gave his reaction to the defeat to the Mail.
