Steele leaves New York Red Bulls
According to the club’s website, the Larne man requested to leave, and parts by mutual agreement after receiving “an offer from outside of Major League Soccer”. Which club he will join next has yet to be revealed.
The 28-year-old, who has had spells with Real Salt Lake and Ballymena United, made the switch to the Red Bulls in 2013. There he played alongside Arsenal legend Thierry Henry and 2014 World Cup goal of the tournament contender, Tim Cahill.
