Hide AdRainey took an early lead but parity was soon resumed when second row forward Daryl Seawright crashed over from close in after a superb rolling maul.
A long period of sustained pressure at the start of the second half was finally rewarded with a try from Phillip Jackson, playing a good lively game at scrum half.
Further tries followed for Dromore from Robbie Masters driving over from close in and then repeated by fellow back row Neil McFarlane.
Rainey then hit back with an opportune try, but despite all their effort it was their last. Dromore finished the game with a well worked try combining the forwards and the backs and with Andy McNeice getting a try on the opposite wing.
