Garvey secure an important win over Divis to move up table
In the opening match of the season Garvey won an exciting game at home to Divis but recently they lost by four shots to them in the NIBA Senior Cup semi-final, so a closely fought game was expected.
But, Garvey won easily to move up the table following successive seven shots hauls and Divis are plunged into the relegation fight.

Hide AdThree threes helped Neil Mulholland to a 18-3 lead at the tenth and three at 15 ends made it 27-4. Garvey dropped four and three but went on to win by 14 shots.
A three at the eighth gave Noel Graham an 8-4 lead and he added another three at the tenth to make it 11-5. Garvey were 16-8 in front at 16 ends and won by five shots.
After starting with a four Keith Morrison added a three at the third to lead 7-1 and it was 10-6 at the tenth, but Garvey dropped three at 14 ends to trail 10-11. They lifted three at 18 ends to lead 18-11 and won by six shots.
A three and a four helped Ivan Craig to a 12-9 lead at the tenth, but Garvey dropped a five and were 15-16 down at 15 ends. Garvey led 19-17 at 18 ends and finished with one, one, four to win by eight shots.
