Hide AdJess had a closely fought semi-final battle before pulling away to win 21-15 against R. McKeown, Whitehead, on Monday night.
Philip Cromie and Noel Graham, Lisnagarvey, had a great battle in the pairs against R. Cregan and G. McGleave, Divis on Wednesday night.
The semi-final tie always appeared likely to be really close, but the predictions appeared to be wrong when they trailed 7-15, but the Garvey pair lifted a four to come back to 11-16 and 14-17 with an end left.
Cromie/Graham were lying a definite two at the last end and several bowls were in the measure before the Garvey pair lost by a shot. Dromore’s Nathan Haire lost 10-21 to D. Anderson, Carrick, in the semi-final of the junior singles on Monday night.
