Town is all set to celebrate St. Patrick
The craic kicks off at 2-4pm and will feature a host of performances and activities guaranteed to get you in the mood for a bit of a jig and a hoolie!
Fabulous folk group Bernagh will delight the crowds with their fantastic fusion of top class traditional music. Featuring influences from Scottish, Ulster-Scots and Irish roots the band add a bit of a sizzle to the mix with a dazzling dash of breton, Galician, asturian, eastern Europe, American blues, jazz, bluegrass, country, rock and Latin music which all mixes together to create a very unique sound.

Hide AdTo put a spring in your step there will also be traditional dance performances from the Bann Rhythm Irish Dancers and Closkelt Highland Dancers.
Other activities on the day will include face painting, balloon modellers, arts and crafts workshops, fun inflatables suitable for children and young people, circus workshop plus a superb selection of wacky walkabout characters.
The afternoon will also feature a spectacular banner procession featuring local children from the Brookfield and Edenderry areas of the district. The children have been involved in workshops learning about the life of St. Patrick and have created a selection of beautiful banners in honour of Ireland’s Patron Saint.
Admission to this super celebration, which is supported by Banbridge District Council Good Relations Programme, is free and everyone from the district and beyond is warmly welcome to come along and having a craic-ing good time.
